Andy Timmons, long time user of the Carl Martin Compressor/Limiter, suggested to Carl that he design a new user friendly Compressor/Limiter that would have two presets. One preset could be used for hard compression and sustain for lead work while the other could be for more subtle rhythm parts. This would also eliminate the need for to two separate compressors and save space on his pedal board.
Just like the Carl Martin Compressor/Limiter, this unit is one of the most musically useful guitar dynamics processors on the
What Vintage series would be complete without an ultra-versatile and simple to use drive pedal? Funny, that’s what Carl said just before he introduced the DC Drive. Just like Carl, this pedal has a few tricks up its sleeve. Besides the typical Level, Tone and Drive knobs which obviously control the volume of the signal, the tone (hmmm, which knob?) and the amount of overdrive, Carl has smartly added a clean boost after the drive section, and a Regular/Fat switch….not so typical.
The Carl Martin DeLayla was designed and developed with one goal in mind: To create a superior analogue delay pedal, incorporating some of the same features used in vintage tape delay units. To achieve this, we have incorporated a second delay tap (similar to using two heads simultaneously on a tape delay).
While chatting over a...um 'coffee' one day a while back, guitar ace Greg Howe asked Carl whether he could develop a pedal that would re-create his signature sound. A pedal that would combine Greg's unique High Gain and Crunch tones.
The Carl Martin Headroom is the most simple to operate reverb pedal on the market...with a couple extras. This purely analogue 'real spring' reverb has two identical identical channels, each with tone and level controls to select the depth and tone of your reverb.
The neat little Hydra Boost, that with it's small size and simple design offers a clean 15dB low noise boost. Imagine your solo with an extra few dB's on top to get it out where it belong, or maybe boost your input on your amp to get more sustain and bite, or simply drive your distortion pedals with extreme input for extraordinary distortion.
You use various combinations of guitar effect pedals like overdrive pedals, distortion pedals, delay pedals, music pedals, tremolo pedals, reverb pedals,
"The new Carl Martin Panama Overdrive, cool anodized case and that awesome Carl Martin DC/DC converter circuitry which allows the pedal to run with +-12V internally (this means better parts and better sound). Check it out yourself, Gain Level and Tone controls along with the new Damping control, head mounted input/outputs and 9V DC input which requires a regular 9V 100mA external power supply and the new small footprint. Bigger sound, bigger tone, all analog, all Carl Martin!"
The Carl Martin Plexitone Low Gain will make single coils sing, and give humbuckers extra punch . Stack it with your other pedals to give you extra boost and smooth out your overdrive, the Carl Martin Plexitone Lo Gain gives your sound that Plexi character.!
